Viking Genetics 
Viking Genetics is a joint Nordic artificial insemination centre and breeding society. It is owned by Swedish, Danish and Finnish breeding associations. Viking Genetics tests 500 bulls annually and is one of world’s largest AI centres. In 2010 Faba will become one of the co-owners of Viking Genetics.
NAV – Nordisk Avelsvärdering, Nordic Cattle Genetic Evaluation
NAV is responsible for the joint Nordic genetic evaluation of dairy cattle. The Nordic Total Merit index that is in use in Denmark, Finland and Sweden has been developed in co-operation by the breeding associations at NAV. Faba is one of the co-owners of NAV.
Dansk Kvaeg, Danish Cattle Federation
Danish Cattle Federation is owned by the Danish agricultural advisory service, breeding associations and the dairy and meat industry. The federation’s goals are to improve the productivity of Danish cattle farms by means of advisory services, research and policy. Danish Cattle Federation is one of the co-owners of NAV.
Svensk Mjölk, Swedish Dairy Association
Swedish Dairy Association is a national organisation for the dairy farmers and the dairy industry. The association gathers and distributes information on different areas of dairy farming such as nutritional science, agricultural policy and cattle breeding. Swedish Dairy Association is one of NAV’s co-owners.
ASMO nucleus herd
ASMO nucleus herd is a Finnish MOET scheme in the Ayrshire cattle. ASMO herd tests 70 Ayrshire and Swedish Red heifers each year, and 15-20 % are selected to become embryo donors. The aim of the nucleus herd is to enhance the rate of genetic improvement of the Ayrshire population.
Nötcenter Viken – Cattle centre Viken
Cattle centre Viken is jointly owned by Nordic agricultural companies Lantmännen and Viking Genetics. Viken is located in Sweden and conducts for example testing of heifers and nutritional research. Viken flushes embryos from animals of high expected breeding values. Through co-ownership of Viking Genetics, Faba will own a minority share of Viken.
ProAgria Group 
ProAgria Group provides advisory services nation-wide. Proagria has a wide network of experts with skills to provide services for all areas of agricultural production. Faba Breeding was a founding member of ProAgria Group, and Faba is a member of ProAgria.
ProAgria Association of Rural Advisory Centres
ProAgria Association of Rural Advisory Centres is a national organisation that provides development, consulting and training services. Members of the Association are the 16 regional ProAgria Centres whose operations the Association supports. ProAgria Association of Rural Advisory Centres is a founding member of the ProAgria Group.
ProAgria Agricultural Data Processing Centre
ProAgria Agricultural Data Processing Centre is a Finnish software and solutions provider specialized in agricultural software. The company provides services for small and large agricultural operations from single farms to the Finnish Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry.
Faba Sika Ltd
Faba Sika Ltd. is a pig breeding company that provides advisory and breeding services throughout Finland. Faba Sika Ltd. is responsible for the Finnish pig breeding program and boar semen production services. The company also handles sales of breeding animals both in Finland and abroad. The company is owned by Faba.
MTT Agrifood Research Finland
MTT Agrifood Research Finland operates under the Finnish Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry. MTT carries out agricultural and food research, for example the use of genomic selection in animal production is one of the research areas. Faba is closely involved in different research projects related to animal breeding.
University of Helsinki, Department of Animal Science and The Faculty of Veterinary Medicine
The Department of Animal Science at University of Helsinki is the only educational institute in Finland teaching Animal Science at university level. Faculty of Veterinary Medicine is also the only institute of higher education that educates veterinary surgeons in Finland. Several research projects related to animal breeding, nutrition and welfare have been conducted in the University of Helsinki. Faba works in co-operation with the university in research projects.
TEKES, Finnish Funding Agency for Technology and Innovation
TEKES funds different research and innovation projects of companies, universities and research institutes. It is the most important publicly funded expert organisation for financing research and development in Finland. Every year TEKES funds over two thousand different business and public research and development projects.
ICAR, International Committee for Animal Recording
ICAR is a non-profit organisation that establishes standards and guidelines for identification of animals, registration of parentage and recording of performance. The aim of ICAR is to promote the development of performance testing and evaluation of farm animals. Faba is a member of ICAR.
Interbull, International Bull Evaluation Service
Interbull is a sub-committee of ICAR. Interbull promotes the development of international genetic evaluations for cattle. Interbull provides a genetic evaluation service that evaluates sires of 6 breeds for individual traits and publishes across-country measures of genetic merit for these sires.
International Red Cow Club 
IRCC promotes the red dairy breeds and encourages co-operation between different breeding associations for red dairy cattle. IRCC organizes a conference every three years to bring breeders of red dairy cattle together. Faba is a member of the organisation.
World Holstein-Friesian Federation 
WHFF organizes meetings and conferences for breeders of Holstein-Friesian cattle and co-operates with other international organisations. The federation aims to harmonize technical procedures involved in performance testing for Holstein-Friesian cattle and promotes the breed worldwide. Faba is a member of the organisation.
World Ayrshire Federation
The aim of World Ayrshire Federation is to improve and promote the Ayrshire breed world-wide. The federation organizes conferences and internationals meetings for Ayrshire breeders all around the world. WAF also assists in semen, livestock and embryo exchanges between countries. Faba is a member of the organisation.
